Lisa Buck

Lisa is a native Nashvillian who received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and then attended Belmont University graduating in 2007 with her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. Lisa has 16 years experience as a pediatric occupational therapist and has been working with Word of Mouth Clinical Associates/Sky High Occupational Therapy for the past 8 years. Her clinical experience in this setting includes working with preschool and elementary aged children to help them reach their goals by working on fine and visual motor skills, visual perception skills, handwriting and keyboarding skills, and sensory processing and self-regulation skills. Lisa is a Handwriting without Tears Level 1 Certified Handwriting Specialist. She has been involved in promoting the Handwriting Without Tears program and has presented as a guest instructor. She also has specialized training in the areas of sensory integration, The Alert Program, The Zones of Regulation program, keyboarding, and visual processing and visual perception. Lisa is passionate about working with families and helping children reach their goals. Lisa and her husband Ricky have a son, Tripp, who is 7 years old and two dogs, Max and Buddy. In her free time, Lisa enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and watching UT football!
