What is Occupational Therapy?

We provide personalized occupational therapy evaluations for children from birth to 21 years of age, tailored to meet each child's unique needs. By focusing on individual strengths and challenges, we create customized therapy plans to support your child's growth, independence, and success in daily activities. Each evaluation is unique to the child. Occupational therapy evaluations can assess any of the following:

  • Evaluating how children process and respond to sensory input, helping identify sensitivities or challenges with touch, sound, or movement.

  • Examining a child's ability to manage their emotions, behavior, and impulses in different situations.

  • Assessing cognitive skills like planning, organizing, attention, and memory that are essential for problem-solving and goal-setting.

  • Assessing the development of small muscle movements necessary for tasks like writing, buttoning clothes, or using utensils.
