Emily Schreiber

Emily is originally from Columbia, Missouri but moved to Nashville seven years ago and now considers Tennessee her home. She graduated from Belmont University in 2019 with a BS in Exercise Science and a minor in dance. She continued her educational career at Belmont, receiving her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy in 2023. Emily has over a decade’s worth of experience working with children. While in school, she spent most of her summers as a nanny and camp counselor. Emily also teaches dance in the Nashville area; she is passionate about empowering and encouraging the next generation of dancers. Emily’s pediatric occupational therapy experience includes level II clinical rotations at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and TriStar Hendersonville outpatient pediatric clinic, therapy technician hours spent in Saint Thomas Midtown’s NICU, and volunteer hours at Nashville Ballet’s adaptive dance program and Saint Luke’s Preschool. Emily was even a student intern at Word of Mouth/Eppert OT in 2018! Emily has clinical practice experience in feeding, sensory processing, Zones of Regulation, wheelchair/equipment evaluation and modification, handwriting, visual motor integration, and NICU- specific infant massage. Emily recently received a NICU therapist certification after completing the IGNITE course provided by the National Association of Neonatal Therapists. During her free time, Emily enjoys dance classes, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with her husband, Thomas. She also treasures time with family and loves visits from her parents dog, Marlow!
